Harkleroad Diamonds & Fine Jewelry, 7300 Abercorn St., will celebrate its 30th anniversary at its annual holiday open house on Nov. 30 from 10 am to 8 pm. Activities include a Simon G trunk show held all day; hors d’oeuvres from 5-8 pm and a drawing at 7:30 pm for a $1000 gift certificate, a pearl necklace, a Daniel Wellington watch, Lafonn earrings and an Anna Beck cuff bracelet. An anniversary gift bag will be given with all purchases. Customers who become a Diamond Dignitary, a status recognizing customer loyalty, will receive an exclusive invitation to a cocktail party celebrating the anniversary.
To complement the pearl theme as a traditional gift for the 30th anniversary and to commemorate this milestone in the company’s history, a portion of sales during the event will be donated to the UGA Marine Extension oyster hatchery, established last year to revive the once-thriving industry in Georgia that led the country in oyster production.

In addition, the store offers jewelry repair and cleaning, watch repair and service, appraisals and custom designed jewelry. It also purchases gold and estate jewelry.
Regular store hours are 10 am – 5:30 pm on Monday through Friday and 10 am – 5 pm on Saturday. For Dec. 9-23, holiday hours will be 10 am – 6:30 pm on Monday through Saturday and 10 am – 4 pm on Dec. 24.
